Myra Alkost

"I was born for my own sake, and no one else's!" -Thought that inspired Myra's creation

Daughter of the High Demon Lord and his elven wife, Myra's childhood was filled with assassination and attempts at manipulation. She was only 4 when her father was killed in a coup by a group of demon tribe purists. While her mother was able to escape with Myra she was severely injured. In order to ensure Myra's safety, her mother fled to the Percival's, whom she was acquainted with prior to her marriage. Due to continuing without rest, the injuries her mother received grew worse a became fatal, passing away within a day of reaching her destination. She pleaded with the Percival's to safeguard her daughter, to which they agreed to on the spot and formally adopted Myra.

As Myra grew, Hikari and Ventus made sure that she remembered her parents and did their utmost to expose her to her native demon and elven heritage. However, while Myra was effectively demon royalty, they always told her that it was her choice whether or not she would return home. Her adoptive father, in particular, was adamant about her finding her own goals in life and that she shouldn't pursue a crown out of a sense of obligation or guilt. At the same time, he told her that should she decide to follow in her father's footsteps of her own accord, her new family would give her any and all support she needed. Myra took her adoptive-father's words to heart and ultimately decided that she didn't want to be a Lord. Instead, she wished to travel the world and see what it had to offer.

In her new family she is particularly close with her father, much to the envy of her younger siblings. However, she does have a close relationship with them. She often spends time with Caelum when he wants to wander the woods and genuinely enjoys hearing him teach her about the various animals, plants, and monsters they see. Despite his overwhelming magical power, she does find herself worrying about him due to his pacifist nature. She adores Sora's passionate spirit, but is often exasperated by her reckless nature; frequently having to intervene to keep her out of trouble during their youth. She holds great respect for Hikari and her skills with a bow and the forge. Myra at one point attempted both, but found bows to not be to her taste and struggled to make the simplest of implements in the forge. While she views her father as a kindred spirit, shes see her mother as the person that makes their house a home.
