Miza is an only child from a noble family in the fire nation, her mother originated from the Water tribe but fled after the fire nations constant attacks on their tribe. She fled thanks to the help of a fire nation general who she later married. While Miza mostly inherited her looks from her father, she is actually a waterbender but pretends to be a non-bender to not blow her mothers cover and for her own safety.
She bends in secret to keep up her skills.
