Abilities:
- Venom: Typical droms are capable of delivering a venomous bite, and Raynathus is no exception. However, unlike the typical drom, Raynathus's venom seems to have a corrosive effect, melting flesh from bone within a matter of minutes. It's unknown how and why his venom works the way it does
- Speed: As a drom, Raynathus is capable of running speeds of up to 50 mph (80.4 kph) in short bursts
- Size: Thanks to his size, Raynathus is able to squeeze into small spaces
Weaknesses:
- Size: While his size can be a strength, it can also be a weakness, Raynathus is unsuitable for physical confrontations and can easily be overpowered by anything bigger than himself
- Aggression: Raynathus has a short temper that can lead to needless arguments and him picking fights that he has no chance of winning on his own

Rayner the dromainathus, or Raynathus as he's more commonly known as, is a hot headed runt that abandoned his flock (or more accurately was banished from it) in search of ways to gain power to prove his worth and earn the respect of others. His whole life he was berated and looked down upon, both figuratively and literally, for his size and odd demeanor. Where most would rely solely on their instincts and physical prowess to survive, Raynathus would use his intelligence to solve problems and create things to make life just a little easier. While the flock ate other dinosaurs without a second thought, Raynathus saw problems with eating something that he could hold a conversation with. His flock disapproved of his ideas and often ridiculed him for it, seeing him as less than a drom. It was from their constant disdain and his own strong desire to prove his worth that Raynathus developed his aggressive personality. Raynathus is very short tempered, impulsive, manipulative, and selfish, he rarely admits his own mistakes and generally tries to pin them on others. As far as he's concerned, if something won't help him get what he wants, then it can go eat dirt. Despite all of his negative traits, he does actually have some good in him. To those he calls friends he will try to help them with any problems they may have and will remain loyal to them to the bitter end. After leaving his flock, he was nearly eaten by a pack of troodon, luckily was saved by an odd creature that breathed fire. Coming to the conclusion that he could use the creature to prove himself, he befriended it, naming it Raydon (after himself), and began training him to become an unstoppable monster, to which he somewhat succeeded in doing. Unfortunately for Raynathus's plans, Raydon, while incredibly powerful, is a big softie and is unwilling to fight unless absolutely necessary, much to the drom's disappointment.
