Petrel appears relaxed and unguarded, treating others with familiarity. He takes most reactions and people in stride, not being easily fussed over withdrawn, aloof, or violent behaviors others may display. He carries himself in a dazed state of half-awareness, writing things down in his journal to keep from forgetting.
His lackadaisical air is accompanied by a habit of speaking and acting in vague and sometimes confusing ways. He tries to be truthful and earnest, but it doesn't come easily to him-- it takes him a bit of time to put his thoughts into the right words, and his speech can become quite lengthy and flowery. The only time he gets visibly agitated is whene miscommunication happens.
