Ammon

Chin length, shaggy dark brown hair. Blue eyes, he describes them as being "like lapis". Several scars, the most noteworthy being on his face crossing his left cheek.

Easy going, somewhat cocky. Likes stealing, finds it fun. Thrill seeker, though more subdued than Khati. Also a whole lot more stable. Determined, confident. Able to stare plenty of strange things in the face without flinching. Takes a joking attitude toward most danger and death. When he gets serious, you know the situation's really bad. Excellent sword skills, taught Khati to fight. More perceptive than he appears, though he doesn't have intuition as powerful as Khati's. Flat out refuses to talk about life before he got to Ta-Senet, would much rather forget anything happened. As far as he's concerned, his life really began when he met Khati.

Met Khati in Ta-Senet when he was 10, Khati was 9, Ammon was already established as a thief. He'd been living in Ta-Senet for several months at that point, seems like he ran away? Regardless, something turned him to thievery. He's hinted that his family was a bit abusive like Khati's father, that's kinda why they bonded so quickly. Refused to acknowledge his father, before he got the title King of Thieves that was kind of his calling card. Had the scar on his cheek already by that point? Think so. They kept up a friendship for 3 years, until Ammon suggested that they run away around Khati's 12th birthday. They did just that.

Ammon experienced Khati's growing instability firsthand. The majority of his scars are from Khati. He helped Khati figure out how to control it, establishing the strict set of rules Khati would follow for the rest of his life. No hunting women or children, only those who deserved it. He got to be a pretty good healer after having to patch himself (and Khati) up. In the process, had to become comfortable with horrible things. Watched Khati kill probably hundreds of people. Didn't exactly like it at first, but accepted it. They'd promised they wouldn't abandon each other no matter what? Whatever reason behind it, he was absolutely determined not to let Khati down. And he didn't. He died to let Khati get away. Fairly sure he'd realized something was up with Khati and Anai and knew Khati had more to live for. Died in 2529 BCE at age 20.
