| needs updated moodboard | Foxglove, more commonly known as Faux, is a resident of Cape Gloam, and the drummer in the band Viralsiren.com. They come off as worldly, passionate, hedonistic, and a bit out of touch to the average person. Faux is incredibly passionate about music and art, their work often dealing with themes of duality, identity and feelings of belonging. They are the first to contribute experimental, expressionistic sounds in their band’s music, even if they may sound unpleasant, to make a song’s message stronger. Foxglove has spent most of their life outside the wall that protects Cape Gloam. They come from a community called the Eosin, a group of art loving hedonists that take life by the horns and indulge in everything. They function like groupies, following the musical talent amongst their ranks and following them across the land. This environment allowed Faux to foster their musical and artistic talents very young. However, due to a tragedy, the community had to move into Cape Gloam to seek safety. There, Faux fell in love with the big city, and managed to get through highschool, and into an art school on a scholarship in order to “make it big”. Even though they’ve been living here for almost a decade, they aren’t a huge fan of how things are run in Cape Gloam, and gravitates towards the local punk scene for a taste of home. Drawing Notes: Their piercings are not optional, their whiskers are always jagged, they generally always look a little rough around the edges. Character notes: - Uses all pronouns, but prefers neutral ones or neopronouns when applicable. Generally just says "surprise me!" in regards to pronouns. - Faux is a stage name, which also doubles as a general nickname. Their full name is Foxglove Eosin. Faux is pronounced like "fox" and they will correct you on it. - Faux is a jack of all trades, master of one. Xe prefers the drums over all other instruments, but has dabbled in a little bit of everything. - They aspire to write a successful webcomic some day, utilizing all of their experience in visual art, writing and music to come together into something bigger. - Faux’s energy is a bit hard to place when first meeting them. Often just really relaxed, taking in the moment, but is quick to get excited at the prospect of something new. They like to sit and absorb the feelings they are feeling about something, and tend to be very introspective that way, if not a little bit pretentious. They tend to spout profound, personal wisdoms, but probably couldn’t do a multiplication problem if you asked. - Faux is fiercely protective of their friends and family. Zir sense of community is incredibly strong due to his upbringing and is a very ride-or-die type of person in that regard. -Faux's love language is gift-giving. Every member of the band they're in has a plethora of paintings, music tracks and short stories given to them by Faux. Magic: Versatility - ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Skill - ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Stamina - ★★★★☆ (2/5) - Faux belongs to the Glamor vocation, and xir locus is in xir collarbone, centered around the suprasternal notch. - Faux has little interest in pursuing magic, as she is more interested in things that can be done with his own hands. -Due to living outside the walls for most of their life, Faux’s magic powers weren’t stunted by the Haven enchantment on the city, although ze doesn’t really care. - The only time they really use their magic is to strike extreme emotion into people viewing its art to understand its true message.
