• His actual name is Elliot but he hates being referred as that. 
• He is a workaholic, depressing guy, never has much to say besides something aggressive. However, he is pretty great at his job. 
• He enjoys writing, really enjoys a good plot twist.
• Not a fan of affection. 
• He has a younger sister named Laura who also works with him. 

Backstory / Current Story ?

• His inspiration for becoming a detective roots in the fact his mother was killed and his father was falsely accused and jailed for the crime. His father is out of jail now after being proven innocent, but received little to no compensation for years of false imprisonment. 
• He is thorough with his work and will check over details several times so suspects don't face the same fate as his father. While he starts out with innocent intent, he eventually becomes too obsessed, ignoring personal desires (I.e making friends, hobbies, days off) which uh slowly drives him crazy. 
• In his current story, he's working alongside a criminal ( Mikael Lancaster ) in order to find out more about the "criminal world" and to solve more cases. He feels like working alongside any criminal is disrespectful to his mother but does it for the greater good. However, things worsen when they end up developing romantic feelings towards each other. This whole ordeal of "being near him is against everything I work for, but I'm infatuated with him" just further contributes to him going absolutely crazy. 
• In the end, he convinces himself Mikael is just using him as as "get out of jail free card" and that he will be backstabbed by him. This extreme paranoia, worsened by his loneliness, lack of sleep, unhealthy obsession with work and his dead mother, causes him to try and fatally shoot his lover.
