Personality
Outside of his hero duties, Marcus appears to be a laid-back, friendly guy. However, when he's fighting crime he almost seems to have a bit too much fun with it, to the point of toying with his opponents. He seems to show off some anti-hero tendencies but ultimately thinks keeping the people safe is most important.

Backstory
After a night of drinking with his friends, at 19, Marcus was dared to go into a restricted part of a cemetery, which he was way too eager to do while under the influence. During this, he got bitten by a magical spider. The effects of the spider bite almost instantly made him pass out.
The spider happened to be a remnant of the goddess Neith. It granted him powerful magical abilities he still hasn’t even fully realised the potential of yet.
Marcus took up the mantle of the sorcerer spider, only his sister Maria was allowed to know his secret identity so she could help him hide his identity from their parents. But this didn’t last long as she was killed by his universe’s version of Stephen Strange. After defeating him, Marcus also reaches the status of his universe’s sorcerer supreme. He vows to improve himself and keep protecting the earth to not let Maria’s death go to waste.
Later, at 25, he gets recruited into the spider society. He becomes part of a side group called ‘’the spider society dark’’ which consists less stable members of spider society.
