Pensive 沉思的, Thoughtful, Cooperative, meekish 温柔的

Passive, brave, gentle 

Due to his muteness he may look like a silent person, but he is actually expressive with his gestures, along with the knowledge of sign language and a tablet to type out words (emojis and memes….hmmm). Tho sometimes he sinks into his own thought bubble more often than participating in groups, which makes him seem to be passive to his surroundings.

Getting to know him more once you get past the first impression of him being meekish, Aotoni is quite thoughtful and caring to his friends. When he observes enough information for the situation, he is not afraid of standing up for it and making plans two steps ahead to get the job done.

Aotoni is quite a good listener to friends in need of just wanting to vent out, maybe a little too cooperative in just listening, but he just wishes you can be comfortable with him being around. Whenever you got problems, he is absolutely going to spend hours in internet research to find helpful information for you later.

Backstory:

Aotoni comes from a family known to be one of the most excellent craftsmans/ engineers in Topaz city, who they run under the brand name “the treasure crypt”. Growing up he is not a stranger to tinkerings and building devices as he spends all day at the workshop with his family/ cousins. Even his “throat injury” and neck to face being covered in bandages isn’t stopping him from poking around and learning new things about sciences and technology.

Speaking of the “injury” that caused his muteness- to him, and no one has an exact memory of how and why it happened, it was all a blurry accident, hurried rush and foggy memory to try save him from his early doom when they were on a far away family trip. His family tried everything to heal his throat, though it seems it might be a permanent damage on losing his voice.  for now they are all thankful that he is alive, and while at it they will find different methods to teach Aotoni other communication methods.

Although being home-tutored throughout his childhood and teen years. His parents begin to encourage him to start out by applying to local colleges to experience things with people around his same age, and maybe take up a part time job to become more independent living. Aotonis mother somehow directs her son to apply to the Grimoire, one of her favorite place to dine in, as soon as hearing there's a job opening.  

With careful preparations and a sprinkle of luck, he is now hired as part of the cafe's staff, while he is best at helping with bits on machinery checks. It's a whole new challenge and experiment  in seeing how ingredients gets mixed and made, but he is eager to learn a few new skills and make friends along the way
