Huo (火)

Huo is an orange cat who has fire powers. His clothes are inspired by Hanfu clothing! He can be drawn either anthro or feral! Despite his backstory, he's still carefree and stays positive. He can only see with one eye, but he doesn't let that bother him.

He learned how to fight with swords during his childhood because he wasn't allowed to use his powers. Except, now he's expirementing with combining his powers and his sword techniques together. Because he had to supress his fire powers for so long, he loves to show them off whenever he can. He's very agile and can get out of tough situations quickly. He may look wimpy, but he's actually very strong. Many people underestimate him and end up getting their ass beat. He doesn't like to fight usually, but if he must he will.

Huo grew up in a village where powers were seen as bad luck. His parents constently told him to hide them, making Huo rebellious. Huo thought his powers were really cool; he didn't understand why he had to hide them. One day he tried to do a cool trick with his powers, but he slipped and caused a giant fire in his village. His parents were furious, so they cuffed his wrists with an artifact that'll forcefully supress his powers. This made Huo resent his parents, he knew that they did this just to protect their names. After those events, he picked up sword fighting. While he was training with his dad, they got into an arguement. Huo wanted to use his powers, even if it was for a little bit. His dad quickly rejected that idea. Without thinking, Huo's dad swung his sword at him. He slashed right onto Huo's left eye; the cut was so deep that Huo is now permanently blind in that eye.

After he healed from that incident, he ran away from home. He didn't care where he went, he just wanted to get away from his parents. Along his journey he met Samuul, who was in the middle of his revenge spree. Huo tried to stop Samuul, peacefully of course, and eventually became friends. When Samuul asked if Huo had any powers, Huo showed him the artifact that was hidden under his sleeves. Huo explained what they were and that he has no idea how to take them off because they were sealed. After tickering with it, Samuul was able to undo the seal with his powers. Huo never felt so relieved, and thanked Samuul. Before getting up to leave, Samuul confesses and they become boyfriends! After that, they would play around with their powers and train together. Everywhere they went, they fought together and both become the topic of almost every village as a powerful duo.
