Cerberus is a guardian to the true gates of hell. The church he resides in is based in Limbo which holds the souls who don't fully go to hell or go to heaven. They are wandering souls that tend to be more ruthless and blood thirsty than most demons. Cerberus is the only one who can let the soul go through to Hell to get judged or sent to the heaven gate. He tends to feed on the soul energy that the souls give off making them weaker and weaker. Cerberus is like a dog his senses are very heightened, he is best friends with the reaper and loves to help the reaper acquire and send souls where they belong. He has multiple personalities, 3 to the exact, they coincide with the 3 heads of Cerberus. The 1st personality is his level headed calm and understanding side. 2nd his rational and blood thirsty side, this is a side you do not want to be on the other side of. 3rd personality is his shy and paranoid side, this side is the side that tends to try to hide and not be seen. It also makes him very moody and depressed. The flames & eyes change as well. Blue is the 1st dog, Red is the 2nd, and Green is the 3rd. On Cerberus's human form there is a Containment marking on his forehead he put on himself to try to keep the human form as long as possible. It only shows when the body is starting to get weak again and need to rest, or he feels in danger. Cerberus also trains and can command the hell hounds.
