Drayce is a man trying his best to live a normal humble life while having a background as a career criminal. He tries to behave and care for his family while managing the occasional itch for the thrill of playing games with the law. He tries his best to never hurt anyone- and has no desire to wish harm on others, but struggles to show his emotions and share how he really feels with others. He comes across as aggressive or threatening when in actuality he's just very reserved and bad at sharing any kind of smile or charisma. 

He's very adaptable and can adjust his looks, his voice, his behavior- to fit many numbers of crowds. He can also weasel his way out of most rock-and-a-hard place situations he finds himself in. Pretending to be someone more confident than he is is easy enough...but it doesn't translate to his personal life at all. 

Drayce grew up as an enforcer in the gang of criminals that his family brought him into. His mother tried the best she could to break him free of that life, but it inevitably followed them and she was killed, leaving Drayce to be raised by his father- a cold and controlling man who forced his son into power and ambition that he...truly did not want. He surrendered to doing as he was told and pretending to be a model gang member...when he really dreamed of being a good person and living a normal life.

He hated his life and what he was forced into, and for many years was bitter about the mother who "ran away" and left him here. He didn't have the confidence to leave until he was a young adult and found out the truth- that his mother had been 'removed' by his so called benefactors. That drew the final straw. Drayce set off on his own, using the very skills they taught him to enforce his father's wishes to defend himself and outrun their entire organization, eventually escaping to another country and vanishing into a typical city under a simple job performing metalwork repairs. 

He eventually met Sinthia- another rebel who he bonded and eventually settled down with. The two now have kids and try to avoid their sketchy past while making a life involving only a little fighting the man.
