Power Mimicry/Storage

Crowe's primary ability, and the reason for his creation, is his ability to use the powers/abilities of anyone he can come into physical contact with. He can use the powers seemingly indefinitely, but the amount of abilities he can obtain often depends on duration of contact. If he only has brief contact, he generally only obtains a weaker version of the powerset, while extended contact can give him the full extent of the other's abilities. While he can use multiple powers at once, he has trouble focusing on more than one at a time.

Adaptive Learning

As a solution to Liam not having a full development cycle, he has the ability to learn or replicate skills with little to no instruction. This is primarily applied with powers he absorbs, as he can learn to control and manifest them almost instantly.

Shapeshifting

Like most polymorphs, Crowe can shapeshift. However, due to him being a mutant and only partially a polymorph, his shapeshifting abilities have become severely limited. He has a humanoid default form instead of the normal polymorph one, and can for the most part only maintain other humanoid forms. He has, however, honed this ability to the point of having extremely detailed replications of others, decieving anyone without divine foresight. He can perfectly replicate the form of anyone he touches, and decently replicate the form of anyone he sees.

Limited Psychometry

Liam has the involuntary ability to get flashes of memories of those he touches, generally when he absorbs their abilities, but sometimes outside of that as well. He has very little control over this, and it's generally not a pleasant experience for either participant. Brief contact can cause mild headaches while extended contact can give very large amounts of insight to the person and their past, but leave both parties incapacitated in the process. Unless the target has psychic abilities themselves, they're generally unaware of what's happening.

Genetic Modifications

In addition to his actual abilities, Crowe's genome has been modified to make him much stronger, faster, and more durable than normal, even for a polymorph or seadweller or what have you. He also has accelerated healing, able to come back quickly from basically anything short of removing a limb. Removed limbs will still grow back over the course of a month-ish, however.

About

Liam is kind of just... vibing, honestly. He's pretty laid back and tries to stay under the radar for the most part, though his lack of impulse control or decision making skills can often lead him into trouble. He can get into trouble just fine on his own, but constant pursuit from Marisian commander, Constantine, makes things a bit easier to fuck around with. He often switches back and forth pretty hard between staying underground and unseen and causing havoc just to irritate her. This does make it kind of hard for him to settle much of anywhere, though, unless people around him are prepared for army intervention. This and his general social disconnect from his upbringing can make it a bit hard to connect to others, but Liam is fairly social and tries his best regardless.

Note: While Crowe is his first name and chosen name, he often also goes by Liam, a nickname from 'Williams,' the surname he took from Constantine. I usually switch back and forth between the two without much rhyme or reason.

Origins

Crowe was made by the team of a disgraced Marisian commander by the name of Constantine. She had numerous attempts to clone Cain Norela, aka Agent 1, the most powerful member of a collection of the most powerful people on Lazura, called the Few, as a part of an effort to stage a coup to overthrow the current leader of Maris, Rucles. However, until Liam, all of her attempts to clone him had failed. Instead of directly cloning him, Liam was the result of her combining her own dna with Agent One, finally yielding a stable specimen.

Liam, like the short-lived speciments before him, was initially uncontrollably violent, and needed to be kept in stasis for long periods of time while the scientists under Constantine's command could figure out how to behaviorly stabilize him enough to use him. Eventually, a behavioral scientist, Lupe Martinez, was brought in to work with and program him to be useful to her. Over time, Lupe grew very close with Crowe, developing the closest thing to a proper parent/child relationship that he's ever had. After a time, Lupe began to conspire to get Crowe out of Constantine's facility, out to a safehouse of theirs out in the mountains.

The initial plan did work, and for about a year, Crowe lived with them in the safehouse while they maintained appearances at the facility to seem just as confused at his disappearance as everyone else. In the meantime, several other cloning attempts failed, and Constantine put all her focus back onto finding Crowe. She eventually found out about the safehouse, cornered Lupe and sent her men to retrieve Liam. At first, he evaded attempts, following careful instructions Lupe laid out for him in case this ever happened, but eventually he was lured out when Constantine brought an imprisoned Lupe to the scene. She promised Lupe's freedom and safety if Crowe returned voluntarily, but as soon as he was in cuffs and power dampeners, she killed Lupe in front of Liam. Kiam was devastated, and went into a near-primal state, killing the guards holding him even with his power dampeners on. From that point, he ran on his own and never looked back.

Escape and Current Life

From the time he escaped, Liam has held a vendetta against Constantine. For a time, he was hunted through the mountains and forests by her men, where he'd kill them indiscriminately. Lupe had made a secondary cache of supplies for him to find if he ever needed to leave, which he managed to get to before Constantine's goons. After his initial streak of rage, he went out into the world on his own, attempting at first to blend in and lose her. After several incidents where he fought off Constantine's lieutenants, Crowe took it upon himself to hit back. In one instance, he was able to garner some information about his origins, learning of his genetic father, Agent 1, while also learning that Constantine is his genetic mother. Yearning for some kind connection after losing Lupe, his new primary objective became finding Agent 1.

Liam spent several years switching between roaming alone, causing havoc to stir up Constantine, raiding her bases and ships for more information, and going back on the run. After years of little progress and no closure, Liam opted to start going to groups for people who have lost family or loved ones. He didn't often share much himself beyond the vaguest details, and he didn't stay at them very long, but they helped him start the road of stablizing himself, and one of them is where he met III. III is one of the first true emotional connections he had managed to make with anyone since escaping.

After kind of sorting himself out for a while, Constantine struck back hard, having reached out to her resources within the military. Liam fought back as hard as he could, but he was eventually captured. He was being held in a high security prison facility for Constantine to retrieve him after she held up her end of the deal with whoever she bargained with. Fortunately for Liam, this facility was also currently holding prisoners from General's Rebellion. At the time, General had began leading a breakout to retrieve his captured comrades, when he discovered Liam's holding cell in all the chaos. Crowe had been drugged to keep him docile, and in this state, he had mistaken General for their father, calling out to him by name. This intrigued him, and after the drugged Liam continued rambling about his 'father', General broke him out as well, if at first only to contain him in his own compound until he got to the bottom of things.

After interrogating Liam, General realized his situation, and told Liam about how their father had been taken, presumably killed, when General was just a teenager, but that Liam's existence points to the idea of him being alive. Liam was distrought to hear that he may have been searching for nothing, but also had never considered the idea of him having a brother or sibling. Though he would opt to help General from time to time, he latched much stronger to General as his brother and family at that point, and General seemed to return the sentiment.

Thanks to Liam's escape largely tarnishing Constantine's position within the military, and General's looking out for Liam from this point on, he's been able to relax a lot more than he ever had before, and make more permanent connections with others. He's not very bothered with Constantine for the most part at this point, and if things start to go south, he often contacts General, or General busts him out if he gets actually captured. He still kinda roams a bit, but he's grown more comfortable with other people. While he still has trust issues, he's managed more often to stick around for him to get actually comfortable with people. Eventually, General gets his own clone in the form of Erik, who Liam sees as his brother all the same as General, and often hangs out with the both of them, messing with them and generally feeling a sense of closure in finding a family he'd been searching for.

Years go by of Liam more or less managing himself, going between General's home and the rebellion compound, to his partners' and friends homes, to roaming around as he is wont to do. He still sometimes with the military every so often, but it's become more of an afterthought. That is, until General disappears. In a major moment of the Rebellion, the (faux) leader disappears, presumed dead after a staged excecution. In the moment, Liam is thrown back into the past, with everything that happened with Lupe, fearing it would happen again should he do nothing. Despite urging from his brother Erik, and the true rebellion leader, Kuneth, Liam was positive that Constantine was once again responsible for kidnapping and harming someone in his family. In an episode blinded by grief and rage, Liam tore through Constantine's facilities until he finally found and confronted her. There was a massive scale battle between the two, where Liam would eventually corner her, and kill her. In Constantine's last moments, she muses at how Liam had become the weapon she'd always wanted, she just aimed him in the wrong direction. Her ship is destroyed, and Liam goes into hiding.

Months go by before General turns back up. Liam remained in hiding for a time, sickened less by the act of killing Constantine, which he still doesn't regret, but more about the fact that with little prompting he had become the weapon she'd made him out to be. It was months until he came back to find General alive, and was finally able to meet Agent 1, who had had a part in rescuing him. He was completely overwhelmed, but happy to have some semblance of a family once again.

III ♥ amarose / partner

Although III is in General's Rebellion, Crowe met him long before knowing anything about General. In one of the periods he spent with minimal interference from Constantine's goons, he found himself going to a self help group for those who have lost loved ones, where he met III. They have a very strong emotional connection through shared trauma, but it grew beyond that initial connection over time. He cares about her a lot.

Agent 1 genetic father

Crowe knows very little about Agent 1 outside of what he's read about in his file. He knows that he exists as an attempt to clone him, and that as a result considers him his father. After his only real parental figure died, he went out in search of Agent 1 in order to find some sense of closure.

General genetic half-brother

General is Liam's brother in every sense of the word. Liam found him while searching for their father, Agent 1. After General realized the circumstance, he invited Liam to consider him a brother, and told him what he thought happened to his father. While they do both work together to find Agent 1, General does much more to fill Liam's need for familial connections than he will likely get even if he finds Agent 1.

Erik genetic half-brother

Erik is Liam's "big brother". Technically he is a clone of General, but Liam considers him a brother all the same. Between him, and General, Liam feels he'd finally found the family he'd been searching for.
