Eriol

A charmer with his words and angelic appearance. He's good at getting others to trust him, but many have fallen from trusting him too much. He has some mental derangements that cause him to think he needs to be looked up to and praised constantly. And those who look up to him are fun to fuck with or betray eventually.

Eriol isn't an angel, but a human evolved to have wings (common in his world). He's charismatic and works as an abassador for his city. He's also psycho-religious and bloodhtirsty when provoked or when all negotiations are off. He's not one to make friends unless he thinks your comradery may be of use to him someday. He enjoys to earn trust just to betray it. Gives him a bit of a high. The blue wings he has run through the family. They're thought the same as "Bluebirds of happiness" ... a title that amuses him.

So far, it's only known that he was born on a tropical island to a loving family. He was always rather unstable for the laid back country, and injured his cousin severely during one of his episodes. His family decided to move to the capital of the mainland to help his grownth and maybe reform him. All that ever accomplished was helping him make a persona to mask himself with. He charmed his way into a government position and rose in ranks. If his sweet words couldn't get him what he wanted, he had ways of making those standing in his way disappear. His main story is that he's the antagonist on his cousin's journey to find a way to kill a God. Interested in the power himself, but also wanting Yorrick to not dismantel his God, he seeks to get into Yorrick's way and take the power for himself. Ultimately, he hopes he can turn Yorrick in to earn his God's favor.
