Due to being artificial, he's got very subtle vitiligo and incredibly high sensitivity to magic, making it nearly impossible for him to focus on a minute to minute basis. Luckily, gamble donated a ring of bells to help snap him out of his distraction, making him a very merry but very loud kid.

The bells might be loud, the kid isn't. He's actually fairly awkward and shy, but tries his best to make his parents proud by acting extroverted and putting himself out of his comfort zone. This can bring him to a fault, however, as relying on other people to give him directions for things he doesn't know how to do has made him trust just about anyone easily. Anybody who's even remotely kind to him is a friend in his eyes, but he's easy to manipulate because of it.

Austin cares for everyone in his life, dutifully doing what he can to fix problems and follow in his fathers' footsteps.
