Creation History

Mitsu is an original Pop’n Music character made around 2006-2007, made as some sort of self-insert with the other boys. Kind of like a Mary Sue, sadly. She did not have any distinctive qualities about herself, besides that she is made as the polar opposite of Mutsuki from Pop’n Music 7, 8, and FEVER CS (Later onto AC). Present day at 2020, she is remade on the flash as a fan-character for the Show by Rock(!!) RP group and made drastic changes to fit right in, while trying to not make her a bland boy-crazy “fereal bimbo” character!

Mitsu as “Michiru”, age 16

In a budget MIDI CITY community high school, Mitsu and several other males wanted to form a band, and a lot had a theme in mind: Emulate the popularity of the boy bands of the 60s to 90s! They take inspiration from the hot boy bands of each decade and incorporate their style and taste into their costuming, characteristics and music production! They even named the band “Bell of Starlight”! The issue with Mitsu is that she was born as a cis-girl and the only way to make the “boy band” concept work is to crossdress Mitsu as this mysterious student ”Michiru”! Michiru was described as the “cute boi” character who would act much younger to tease the female fans! Mitchiru would also act silly on camera (via old flip phone days) and is seen in online blogs and early social media outlets (mainly sites similar to MySpace)! Everyone tries to find out who Michiru really is, but before anyone can even doxx Michiru, she was smart enough to have firewalls, malware/virus scanners and VPN add-ons to prevent such accidents! The biggest challenge Michiru growing up as a teen boy is wearing a chest binder, practicing intense skin care and foundation to look more of a pretty boy than an actual pretty girl.

Graduation is close and each member has set their goals on college or an instant career, “Bell of Starlight” had to disband the responsibility and ambition weight of managing a band, as well the concept of running BoS. This ain’t easy for Mitsu, as she now had to start transitioning back to her cis-girl life, thus throwing all identity of Michiru to the bucket! That unfortunately came true as a house fire occurred, damaging all memoria with only her guitar and important documents salvaged. The guitar however is beyond playable and she tries to preserve it as a trophy. BoS songs are only recorded in a CD and one of the former band mates had it. Mitsu had to restart life while transitioning to college with what she has...

Mitsu, at her 30s

Present day MIDI CITY, and Mitsu got out of college with a few certificates. She’s not talented at education at the start, and it was a struggle for her. Thankfully she had a second chance in life thanks to family support. After the incident and losing her old home, her family lived with their grandparents in the countryside and Mitsu starts to change her appearance due to a mix of mental illness and post-tragic recovery. She grew her hair, gained a bit of weight and bleached her hair so she can have more freedom to dye her hair. The family she lives in includes a relative (cousin maybe?) named Mutsuki that looks exactly like the “Michiru” of the past. Mitsu treats the concept of “Michiru” as a mere memory and not someone who exists in the past.

After resetting her life, she returns back to city life with a budget apartment and starts job hunting using the certificates she earned. Thankfully her art skills at fashion design land at a very small and blooming business called “Lume Lights”. This boutique specializes in fashion meeting idol culture, which include materials for these light sticks for idol shows! Mitsu dons the long pink ponytail hair and the face of an adoring idol despite being already in her late 20s when hired for the job! “Lume Lights” never discriminates against any “rising star” for their age or form, and the trend of “thick thighs” somehow helped the business! However, Mitsu is a heavy contributor to her dance unit of the same name and ends up finding a video recording of the earliest Criticrista showing at St. Midi’s Girls Academy! Mitsu wanted to use her skills as a cyalume dancer and had her unit reserve seating tickets and watch the rising girl band perform! Mitsu’s contribution to the light crowd helped make Criticrista popular to the point of attention from UVM!

Mitsu had never interacted with the Criticrista members until Rosia and Holmy got unwanted attention on social media over a law business account. The former “Bell of Starlight” members knew Mitsu had to go through a visual transition EXCEPT for that one “busybody” member…
