A drow scholar who also happens to be a lich. It's unclear whether that's due to her own experimentation or because she'd decided even an elven lifespan was not enough time for her to pursue her studies to their fullest. Nor is it clear exactly what those studies are, but an air of rot and wild magic hangs thick in the air around her home.
Lady Diendi is not outwardly hostile towards anyone, but do not take this to mean she has any compassion for random people. She will not hesitate to abduct a person and use them for dangerous magical experiments if she found them interesting (or just needed An Person for it). Her adoptive son Faelen, who was born from an experiment with wild magic gone awry, is about the only one she shows any degree of empathy for (and is fact quite fond of him)
