Sayla

Sayla works as a wolf caretaker. She and her brother, Abraham, are in charge of the Daydream Pack. They and the wolves have formed a rocky friendship, borne out of necessity after Ears, the breeding female, had trouble giving birth to Runner and Jumper, the pack's yearlings. Now, Sayla and Abraham are the only ones allowed near the pack.

Sayla is shorter than average height and muscular, but not overly buff. Her nationality is ambiguous, as she was adopted at a very young age from a sketchy orphanage. She assumes she is half Asian, half European, but doesn't care enough to find out for sure. Her hair is long and brown, easily tangled after a long day's work. Her usual attire is loose jeans with an exercise shirt, though she often borrows her brother's clothes. Her eyes are brown. She has a knack for learning languages and is known to be brash. While her brother is kind and socially awkward, Sayla is standoffish. She gets along better with the wolves than her coworkers.
