Jet is the son of a powerful Mafia Boss, Mr. Davis. His father took out his disgust towards Jet's mother on him since she had dissapeared after leaving the baby behind. His father would often punish him for the slightest infraction by chaining up his wings and leaving him in a dark cellar. His father also used to strike him with whatever blunt object was nearby. These would leave permenent shatter marks on Jet's skin since his skin has a different density than the normal human. When met with brute force from an object denser then itself it shatters rather then bleeds. Eventually as he got older he became more useful to his father and therefore earned some approval. He still walks on eggshells around him, but is able to complete his duties as the Boss's son just fine. He'd do anyhting her father asked of him, without hesitation.

His life got a little brighter when a new singer arrived in Rusty's Bar. Misty was a brightly colored individual with a soft voice, Jet thought it sounded like an angel, but she was energetic at the same time. Jet couldn't help but sing along under his breath. Little did he know that humming along with her would change their lives forever.
