Comet has a secret that no one on Santa's team knows about. Despite being born as a male reindeer, he always felt different from the others. He felt he was meant to be a female of a different species, but he never told anyone. Being around kids made him feel better about being who he was until he went searching for a missing child one day. During his search, he stumbled upon a house and decided to investigate. His cloven hooves fell upon the wooden floors gently as he looked around at the mysterious vials that occupied the many shelves on the walls. A bubbling cauldron in the center of the room caught his attention and he ventured closer to gaze inside. As he peered into the bubbling goop, he got too close and some ended up getting on his face when he got distracted by a voice that echoed around the room. "Do not allow the concoction to touch you, lest your deepest desire come true." Before he knew it, his whole body started to glow and change shape. Next thing he knew was that he was actually a female and a Viscet. Inspecting his new body, he heard the voice again. "You are a lucky one. This transformation is a controlled choice, so you are able to choose when you are in a certain form." This was a happy surprise for him, cause now he can live a new life but remain a part of Santa's sleigh team. Taking advantage of this new ability, Comet now spends his days as the Viscet and only shows up as a reindeer when he is needed for the sleigh team. This is still a well kept secret and so far, no one has become suspicious. Comet still loves being around kids and has found a new joy in bringing happiness to the elderly.
