Story [WIP]

Beast is a dog bred for consumption, thus he was never given a name. Before his death he was skinned, which resulted in him not having a complete skeleton body when he became a spirit.

His soul is fused with the humans who have eaten him, not having a complete soul denied him access to heaven or hell, thus trapping him on Earth. It also caused his appearance to become more human like, and for him to evolve to learn how to speak and understand English. The pieces of souls slowly merges with the human they’re trapped in to form a distorted and deformed dog like creature.

He is trying to retrieve the other pieces of his soul from human that managed to have eaten him in an attempt to piece them together to form a complete soul. To do so, he would have to end all of their bloodlines, so his soul inside would not be transferred anywhere else.

[Main character] is immortal and cursed to never die, even in the worst conditions he is doomed to suffer. He has a piece of Beast’s soul that he had gotten from his father, a rich and greedy businessman that enjoys eating street food. Beast is determined to kill him as he has the last piece of his soul, and he is delighted when [Main character] summons him for a task in exchange for his soul. Beast, in his excitement, agreed without properly hearing it through.

Beast is tasked with finishing someone off in exchange for [Main character] and his last soul. The person he’s hunting, however, is the same person that’s making the deal with him.

Beast is now stuck as he’s unable to kill [Main character] yet he has already struck a deal, he’s now forced to just live with [Main character] while they try to find ways for him to die.

In reality, [Main character] made the deal because he was lonely, everyone he loved has already died and he wants a companion that’ll stay by him.

His eternal life means that he is forever lonesome and he'll have to move and change identity every half a decade. So he figured if the plan didn’t work at least hell finally die, un(?)fortunately it did.

[Main character] was given the "gift" of immortality as he is in purgatory for literally doing nothing good nor bad. He doesn’t know, but by simply doing something good or bad he'll finally be sorted into heaven or hell.

At first Beast is just kinda sulking that he’s trapped with a human forever, especially since he doesn’t know about [Main character]’s purgatory. But after a while they bond and become friends.

The story ends when [Main character] does really nice thing for Beast and starts ascending to heaven. [Main character] is upset when the gets to the top, only to see Beast beside him. Beast had collected all his souls now after all. Beas, despite being a bad guy for a majority of his spirit life, has redeemed himself by being a good companion to [Main character].

They spend the rest of eternity, enjoying their new life with each other

Appearance

Beast is a black demon dog that is capable of standing on his hind legs. His body’s fur ranges from short to medium length, his muzzle, ribcage and tail are the only areas of him where his bones are exposed.

His eyes glow a faint white light and lack any pupils, they are usually portrayed using white (sketchy) circles. His upper front teeth are slanted outwards while his lower front teeth are slanted inwards, thus interlocking with each other when he closes his mouth. His teeth juts out when he closes his mouth, creating an impression that he is always smiling/baring his teeth. His fur on his elbows are slightly darker and longer than the rest of the fur on his body. He had human like arms and hands and his tail bones that are exposed have 7 different segments.

Personailty

Beast is usually a cynical, deceptive and vengeful spirit, he shows slight compassion to those who’ve experienced similar situations as him. Though his hatred for humans still overpowers everything else. He is relentless, willing to sacrifice those around him for his own personal gain, bashful and often pushes his limits. Occasionally he would help other animals that need it but almost never humans, the most he’s done for a human is to spare them as he doesn’t think they’re worth his energy.

He is generally snarky and rude, with little respect to others. He can speak and understand human language though he often prefers not to, opting to express himself using animalistic sounds.

Trivia & Notes

• The areas of Beast's physical body that were stripped of skin were reversed in his spirit form, which is why only his muzzle, ribs and tail bones are exposed
• Beast's breed is not determined, however he is believed to have doberman blood in him due to his cropped ears
• Beast is 6'0 when he stands up slouched, he could be as tall as 6'2 if he stood up straight. In a feral position he is around 3'8
• Beast runs on all fours but likes to stand up to look more intimidating
• Beast have sharp retratable claws that he uses in combat
