Syra

PHYS. DESCRIPTION: Kinda small. 

Very light red, pink-ish hair falls down to just around shoulder length. Usually seen smiling. Has four lavender eyes - two on each side of the face. (Very limited vision.)

More on the small side, though she's not exactly dainty - stronger than she looks (in terms of raw physical strength.) Her hands are distinctly clawed - having some white claw-like nails instead of fingernails like a usual person.

PERSONALITY: Sweeter than candy! 

She outwardly comes off as a sweet & bubbly, high energy person. A bit airheaded, but not quite - however much her disposition supposedly says otherwise. Actually quite intelligent & smarter than she (usually) lets on.

Easily excitable. Curious about what's around her, especially other people & their opinions. Syra's formed a habit of acting ditzier than she really is - playing dumb & pretending to be oblivious just to see what people really think - or reach for the details in general. If they think she's not listening, or aware, what will they say? Or do? She just really wants to know... 

Incredibly creative, & has... a really fast thought process. Speaks even faster, with a tendency to go on tangents & rants - asking several questions in rapid succession - to the point that she can't keep up with herself sometimes. Her mind works in strange ways.

Quite perceptive - especially with the emotions of others - she finds it easy to pick up on small details. but has difficulty empathizing.

It takes a lot for her to get genuinely pissed off about something - usually, she's just mildly frustrated at most. The type to forgive & forget

Friendly, usually pretty kind. Syra's most comfortable when she's around other people - so she welcomes most interaction with open arms & enjoys (attempting) making friends with whoever! She's just glad to have company. 

But, despite her sociability, she finds it difficult to truly connect & form bonds with others. It's easy to socialize and spend time with people, she loves doing that - but there's some sort of disconnect there - the lack of a real click with most. Whether it's self imposed or mutual, she can't tell. She wants to be able to relate to others, but feels she has vry little in common with them.

More than anything, she wants to be normal, to blend in with the crowds & be seen as any other person, but she's about as far from normal as you could get. Syra already knows that she's treated as one of the group, but still perceives herself as different, not entirely normal, & can't quite tell if that perspective is shared or not. 

[rewrite sentence] In her eyes, others would probably take pride in such things, or at least view it positively, but all she gets out of it is being painfully alone in the world.

Growing up, she didn't really have friends - and in the present day, that hasn't changed. She had plenty of social interaction, sure - someone as chatty and extroverted as her couldn't go without it - but even with all those she frequently talked to, she couldn't quite perceive them as friends, or bond with them as such. They were just... people she talked to.

Syra doesn't quite know the direction she wants her life to go in yet but that's ok! Her future isn't something she thinks about very often anyway. Shes just Vibing.

The copious free time she has is spent doing various things, usually (but definitely not limited to) sifting through historical archives & legends at the local libraries, wandering through the city, busying herself with whatever else she thinks is a good timekiller (& a good idea), or messing around with her abilities in attempt to better understand them & how they work..

 Either doing those, or wandering outside near the city's giant sundial - lingering near the monument for sometimes hours at a time. She just likes to hang around there - & has a fascination with the sundial that she can't quite explain, even to herself. The area around it's sort of calming, or something like that. Something draws her to it like a magnet.

TRIVIA:

-Syra likes to collect things, but she's not the best at staying consistent with it, so she has a bunch of half-finished collections lying around

-Loves anything to do with music - especially singing! She's the type to sing along with whatever shes listening to at the moment. 

-Really enjoys sitcoms. Like a lot. especially early 2010s liveaction disney shows, stuff like icarly and ant farm, that specific brand of sitcom

-Not very flexible or agile. or quick on her feet.

-She's Very hot to the touch, in a temperature sense. Not at all soft (touch-wise). Hugging her would probably feel like laying on a hot parking lot in the dead middle of summer (hard and really hot, uncomfortably but not unbearably so)

-Along with this, she pretty much radiates heat. 

-Ridiculously heavy sleeper

-Actually not that big a fan of sugary foods or sweets in general, she can only stand a little bit at a time.

-She stands almost completely still, especially when idle - almost statue-like. 

-Has a youtube account that she uploads nightcore to (in canon)

-She can't really eat frozen foods (stuff like popsicles) unless she's fast, because they start to melt really quickly in her hands -m-
