Personality

Not really known for being a social butterfly, due to Max being a tad bit awkward when trying to think of starting topics. He prefers to be more of a listener, or observer in most social situations. But he won't shy away from a conversation when dragged into one. Talking to customers is a bit easier because they come in only to get their tea.

Max is a very chill guy and he really enjoys being around others, especially when they give off good vibes. He likes meeting new individuals, who he hopes can become new friendships. But once he gets negative feelings about someone; whether that is the first meeting or after several, he will literally walk away from that person because he doesn't want to cause a problem. Or have such negative vibes in his life. Max takes life as it comes, but doesn't wish to have a constant bad vibe following him.

The problem others have with Max is his very monotone voice, and bored expression, which always makes him look or sound as if he is annoyed, or not interested in anything. He does get annoyed when friends ask him if he is ok, or in a good mood because he gets very self conscious about. It causes Max to worry if he really is just poorly portraying himself. Or confused as to who he really is. These feelings about himself, he makes sure to not let people know because he doesn't want to bother others with his insecurities.

Trivia

• Clothes are always baggy, layered, and wears a jacket with fur.
• Owns 3 cats.
• The gem on his forehead helps control his magic. But it sometimes causes him to have horrible headaches.
• Max does have an old school witch hat, but changes it to fit the time and his tastes.
• Has both an acoustic and electric guitar. Enjoys playing both when he has free time. And he will play and sing for others when requested, but has to close his eyes because he has bad stage fright.
• Doesn’t matter what he does, his hair always stays wild.
• Has a large collection of tea sets.
• When he is feeling extra lazy, Max will levitate the tea to his mouth.

The Family

Max was born into a pretty big family. Big, meaning a lot of siblings in one household. But around the world; brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas. He was the last and youngest born out of 8 of his siblings. At home it was only his mother, dad, and him. The rest of his siblings had moved out and made settlements in different towns or parts of the world. However they would come together at family gatherings, such as birthdays or holidays. Due to the whole family coming out to visit they have to host these events deep in the forest.

Training and New Life

His family has a tradition that gets the older witches to teach the new generation the history, and craft of their kind. So most of Max's years were spent traveling around the world to learn from his elders. It had its ups and downs, given if his relative was a strict teacher. If they were, he would ditch his lessons to sunbathe, dance in the rain, check out the flora, or read.

Older, Max was ecstatic to find a place to settle and open up a tea shop. Not a very big city boy, the young witch found a nice little town where everyone knows each other. But if he so wished, Max could still drive out a few hours to visit the large bustling city. So for 2 years he enjoyed his slow, routine, and easy life.

New Adventure

It came to a surprise when a friend sent him a link to a contest, where the winners are sent to what seems like a resort for singles. It embarrassed Max a bit that he was even considering it because he feels that if he was to find his significant other it would happen by fated chance. But his friend was very pushy. To both of their shock he won and was on his way to Santorini islands.
