he's a chi mix named Flynn and is an aerobatic pilot who got caught up in a dogfight between two sky pirate gangs (that are also dogs because yeah, it makes no sense but what the hell it’s fun) (and maybe I was watching Castle in the Sky while drawing and I love the pirates and hi there inspiration) during the fight, part of his ear got nicked off and his plane was destroyed but he was rescued by one of the sky pirate gangs and he’s temporarily joined up with them as the new pilot of their airship (the former was fired for their terrible maneuvers in the fateful dogfight) while their captain has promised to replace his airplane
