Sky-pin

Appearance: 
      Hair: black and blue are her natural color but she dyes the purple streaks into it
      Eyes: green
      Skin/Fur: Gray
      Costume: Black collar, black and white striped socks on her right back foot and front left foot, 3 earrings in each ear
      Unique Characteristics: Stars tattooed on her back left foot, a black mole under her right eye
      Symbol: Safety pin over a rainbow she has the star tattooed around it but its not part of her original mark

Talent:
     Piercings and star identification (Mapping where they’ll be, knowing the stars’ names, locating stars, ect)

Occupation:
     Self employed, Sky-pin used her star identification skills to lead night hikes/star lit hikes for newlyweds, adventurers, or anyone else looking for a guided, safe fun trip at night. During the fall season she offers haunted hikes and ghost tours as well.

Pet:
     Although Sky-pin love animals she doesn’t have any of her own

Likes:
     Tattoos, piercings, safety pins, stripes, reptiles, knee socks, wildlife, night walks, stargazing, looking up at the sky, scary stories, candles, FlutterDie, Spells, taxidermy, collecting oddities, mythology, creepy things, spells and potions, old books, things that can add to decor in her store where ponies can view when they come to make their night hike appointments.

Dislikes:
     Ponies who come on her night hike and then have to point out “that’s not scary” or “that’s a fake prop”, Of course it is some ponies just want a little adventure while still being safe. Ponies who try to ruin a fun experience for other. Although Sky-pin offers ghost tours and haunted walks she does not like pranks. The two are different in that ponies seek her out and pay for a fun experience whereas a normal prank is normally unsolicited. Sky-pin does not care for foals at all. She dislikes the crying, the noises, the leaking, and everything else that is associated with them.

Fears:
      Social interactions; although Sky-pin takes ponies on tours for a living, going into town and interacting with ponies on a regular basis makes her nervous and can led to panic attacks. Because Sky-pin’s parents were both Pegasus she never fully learned how to really swim (she can kind of doggy paddle). Because of that, she does not like the beach, ocean, large bodies of water, or being on a boat.

Positive Characteristics:
     Self-confident and independent she cares for herself by doing what she enjoys. She had a bumpy childhood but sees it as a positive thing that mas made her the pony she is today. She is loyal to anyone she 100% makes friends with (which can take a while) but once she considers somepony a friend she is willing to fight tooth and hoof for them.

Negative Characteristics:
      She can be a little too self-confident and can come across as arrogant. She tends to be a little bitter regarding pony-kind, she believes that as a whole everypony is bad, until proven otherwise. She does realize she has these feeling toward ponies and tries her best to put them aside when meeting someone new, but usually still keeps her guard up for quite a bit.

Family History:
     Sky-pin’s parents were both Pegasus but for some reason the earth pony gene was dominant and she was born an earth pony. Her parents named her Sky regardless as they didn't want her to feel any lesser. Her parents moved from their sky home to a home on the ground with a large wooded backyard for Sky-pin to play in. Growing up Sky-pin’s parents kept their jobs in the sky but spent their home lives on earth. She always felt bad for being born an earth pony but her parents worked very hard to show her she was not a burden to them. While they might come home late at night exhausted, they were always happy to stay up even later teaching Sky-pin about the sky she was named after. As a young teen she left home to start a piercing and tattoo business. Her parents, although they didn't like tattoos or piercings, supported her to follow her dreams. They moved back to the sky land and Sky-pin moved into the big city to open up a piercing and tattoo parlor. Her parents currently reside in the cloud city. Background: Sky-pin use to own a tattoo and piercing shop in the city that did quite well. During that time she got swept up in city life, partying, spending nights with numerous mares, as well as adding her own tattoos (including adding the black star around her symbol) and piercings. As she grew older she realized she was not really as happy as she thought she was and felt that something was missing. She started downsizing her crazy party life and worked to save up enough money to move out of the city. Her last tattoo was the star collection on her foot, to remind herself to “stand” strong to what she is passionate about. She moved out to a smaller location with a large portion of old wooded forests. She currently lives in a modified tree house within the village boundaries near the forest enterance.

Other Facts:
     Sky-pin use to wear her knee socks on her back legs until her tattooed her back foot, then she moved it to the front - Her mane is actually just black and blue but she dyes the purple into it
