Lizard pup!!! I have a lizard cat here, I think they could be very good friends!
Oddball is part of Farren's story. Farren is a sweet celestial pup who travels the universe, visiting planets and making friends. But he can never stay in one place for long, because he's bound to roam the stars. He wants to find someone who can be a constant companion for him through his travels.
Oddball can't be that constant companion, and neither can this dino dog, who I honestly might name Rex. But Farren will befriend both of them, and help them find each other.
See, Oddball's a bit of an outcast among his fellow felines. He's never met another cat quite like him, and the others whisper rumors about him being hatched from an egg. He enjoys the company of reptiles, but most seem to either flee from him or try to eat him.
I imagine Rex is just naturally a loner, hatched alone out in a desert somewhere. He's been fending for himself all his life, and he gets along fine with others but doesn't expect them to stick around.
When Oddball and Rex meet each other, they form an instant connection. It's like they're two of a kind, and they both finally feel... understood. After that, they hardly leave each other's side.
Edit: I'll definitely want to get art of these two cuties together! I'll probably also write at least one little story about the adventures they have together after Farren leaves their planet.
