Before his traumatic experience with his ex, Catt used to be your typical mean girl. He used people, cheated, manipulated situations to get his way, and overall never gave a fuck. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind or rip you apart to put you back in your place. He’s changed since then, but if he’s drinking to run away from his issues his old self might shine through.

After dealing with Lukas, he’s a more timid. He’s coming out of his shell more while trying to find himself at the same time which is proving to be very difficult after having given up his ability to feel emotions. He can come across as insensitive with some of the comments he makes, but it’s not his intention at all ! He can’t read a room to save his life, he’s not trying to hurt you purposely. He’s really bubbly and might try a little too hard for people to like him since deep down he still needs validation after years of not getting it. Although, it does make him come across as more annoying than anything. He’s just trying his best !

Silence does bother him a lot due to Lukas keeping him isolated with barely anything to do. He had no phone, or much. With nothing to keep him busy, he’d end up sleeping a lot if Lukas had business meetings to tend to, meaning he always needs to have something playing in the background. It makes him paranoid if it’s quiet for too long.

Although he might not have his emotions anymore, he’s used to acting as if everything ok so it’s very natural for him to maintain his bubbly persona, and his body reacting how it used to gives him hints on how he should handle things, but some emotions mirror others for him making it harder to react to situations or realize how he hurt someone. He only ever drops his act when he’s alone or with Vargas since he knows a majority of what Catt’s dealing with and helps him understand what he’s feeling better.

He is really big on affection after being touch-starved for 4 years which causes trouble when he’s trying to flirt since it reads the same as him just being friendly. He tries to break out of his norm to present himself as a more dominate person but he still struggles when someone tries to challenge that, his body’s natural reaction gives him away.
