Pride

Summarized lore: Pride was originally a sacrifice for the good of the world. His job was that of a sponge. He was placed in a sacred temple where he would remain the rest of his days. Being infused with an empty crystal that did nothing but consume; he was linked to the earth itself. Gaining a thing string of light to each being that walked the world. He took pride in his role. As centuries passed the malice he absorbed slowly began to consume him, tainting his every being. Seeking for help, The Order that promised to help only gave him false hope. The malice began to make him lose focus and his sanity. He lost sight of his purpose, gaining determination for a new goal. "If every being followed one mind, there'd be no evil in this world" That alone was enough for him. He took off destroying the temple and everything, everyone in it.
"Collateral damage, for a path to peace?"

Relationship: Phenyo met Pride when he was defeated in a battle. Pride had nearly been dead, but had used the last bit of his power to teleport to the farthest possible location he could; Phenyo's backyard. (coincidental) Phenyo went to him, saw his near-death condition, and broke off her own crystals to heal and save his life.

After his life was saved, Pride began to hang around her like a lost puppy. Phenyo originally thought it to be semi-annoying; she had not been looking for companionship. But after a while, she began to see his charm and accepted him more and more as a part of her life as the days and weeks went by.
