Ichiro is a secretary bird who is power-hungry and craves status among others. However, he could not climb the social ladder within his own species. Upon receiving some anklets from a shady pangolin trader, he initially puts them on just to impress others and maybe find himself a partner. However, the anklets turn him from a secreatary bird to a winged karelian bear dog. At first thoroughly confused and concerned, he learns to eventually use this power to his advantage, and worms his way to becoming the king of the Fortune Plains.
