the book definition of a femme fatale. wakana may be the most dangerous creature you will ever run into— or, well, not dangerous, but certainly the most outrageously vicious. during the day, wakana runs a fairly popular fine jewelry store in uptown fogmere. however, when night bells toll, she heads for earth, and sets out to find her prey. wakana is a vengeful spirit, with long, barbed hooks in her hair, fit for trapping targets and shredding flesh. wakana’s beauty and natural skills as a conversationalist make her very adept at luring in her targets: predatory men. sometimes even men that simply flirted with her a little too long. over time, she has stopped trying to judge her actions through morality, and simply stopped trying to make a division. she simply has a natural hostility towards humans, and has no interest in fighting those urges.

wakana has lived for many years, and not even she is sure anymore about the exact amount. even her origins are uncertain to her; she may have been born from the grudges of women, who died at the hands of strangers and husbands. it would be cool, but she doesn’t really care. for all those years, not once has she gotten into trouble with any form of authority. eye-witnesses or not, not being a person in the first place, she’s not registered anywhere except the haven plane. she’s become a bit of an urban legend in modern times, warning of a beautiful woman, with metal tips in her hair. it only spreads in occult fanatic circles, though, and they… typically do not go outside much, and thus haven’t a need to worry for her.
