Arceus' Library

Once a barren wasteland of nothingness and void, Arceus came to the land and blessed the world with it's beauty. Came forth the forests, the plains. The sizzling dessert and the vast seas. Arcues created the lands into an art they call their own. Then came Mew, Bringer of Life and Mother of Souls. They brought pokemons to life in the eden that Arceus had created. The legendary pokemons were said to be the first pokemons to come from Mew's life essence. From them, come the inhabitants of Ascadia.

The Land

The Fairy Kingdom, The Dark Empire and the Dragons are on the verge of war due to miscommunications and misinformations. The heir to the fairy kingdom has long disseapered and they believed their princess was kidnapped by the Dark Lord. Not wanting to be put to blame, the Lord blames the Dragons but the dragons themselves have lost their heir are in mourning. Since this blame game started, the kingdoms are tense with one another and are plotting on bringing the other down. Unbeknowst to them, their princess' only child is out in the world adventuring with their friends to bring the clans together.

The dangerous areas of the Untammed, the Oroduracano and the Glimmingmire are hard to enter unless you're either dead; fire-resistant and poison-resistant. These areas are far too dangerous for normal pokemons but of course they're able to visit with the proper equipment. However, the Untammed is like the land of the dead in this world. Only the dead may enter and only the dead may leave. Hence, the Untammed is the only area of the region where it's only inhabitants are ghost-typed pokemons.

Roussone is an arctic region with long winters and harsh snowstorms. Most inhabitants of the area are scientists who wish to learn about the world. However, if one wish to explore deep within the sea trenches, they'll find Kalugron, an old eevee island where long when the eevee wars happened, these eevees wish not for war and dissapeared into their paradise underwater.

Mistcrates is a place of knowledge. The area is filled with books and literatures, from enyclopedias and studies to magazines and comic books. However, most inhabitants of Mistcrates are believers of Mew. Topic of belief is tabboo when in Mistcrates.

The Adventurer's Guild is located in a small town in Tanakala Plains. It stands proud and tall, for flying pokmeons to enter and drop in mail when they need to. All the guilds that are scattered thru the regions come to their call in need when the Arch Guild Master requires them. However, noone but the main regional guild leaders have seen the guild master. Some say they are actually a legendary pokemon.

Legendaries

Arceus, the so called Creator of All, is the all knowing entity who writes what has happened, what is happening and what will happen. Though legends say that Mew created the Legendaries, it is false. For the legendaries are creations of Arceus as guardians of his Eden. Arceus is often depicted as wise and powerful but they too are a prick. They're smile never reahes their eye and their eyes hide anger.

Mew, the true creator, brings forth all of the other pokemons. However, Arceus destroyed any evidence of Mew's coming and most of the pokemons below believes mew as a tall tale, but their true belivers thinks other wise. Though most pokemon comes from Mew's life essence, only 2 pokemon are thought to be true descedents of Mew, Mew-Two and The Dittos.

The lake guardians acts like the fates. Mesprit brings emotions (they deal with the pain as well). Has a tendency to fuck around with mortals and make their life just a bit harder but also gift them with nicer things for doing good (take example on Amore: they turned him into a magical girl and has to protect his city. For the price of power, they made him easily targeted by the bad guys but if he succeeds, good things come for Amore). Uxi brings knowldege. One of the few legendary who knows the way to Arceus' library. Kind of a stuck up snob. Azelf brings willpower. The most powerful of the three but also the least seen. They're often busy dealing with the mortals but can be contacted if you've got enough will.

The lands of Ascadia is scattered with all sorts of type of pokemon. From the small azumaril to the big gigantic copperajah, these pokemons mingle with one another amongs the hustle and bustle of the world.

The Pokemons

Ditto was created by Mew, who wanted a friend to keep them company. What they created did not look like themselves but they love their new creation nonetheless. Arceus finds the creature a morbid thing as they fear it would cause a disbalance in the universe. Arceus banishes Ditto into the mortal world and strip it away of it's god-like powers. Unbeknonwst to Arceus, Ditto had kept Mew's mimic-like ability and was able to transform itself to fit in with the other pokemons well. The ditto line is always protected andprotected by Mew and they believe in Mew more than Arceus.

Arceus "created" Eevees to be normal types. Mew granted them the ability to change types due to their good-heartedness and honesty. However, things changed when the eevees began to fight one another, as they deem they are the better type. Mew, sad and dissapointed by their creations doing, punishes the eevees. As Mew has already given them their type changing ability, they are unable to strip them away without causing chaos and pain. Instead, they opted for trials and hardships. The eevees must go through the challenges set by Mew to once again regain the type they wish to be. These trials have now changed into compact stones or simple requirements as traditions evolves overtime. Eevees dedicate a day to celebrate and remind themselves of the hardships their ancestors had to go through.

The Types

A weird state; There are two types of ghost pokemons. One who are pure and one who came from dying. Pure ghost mons would grow like every other pokemon. They'd evolve (if they wish to) and looks like their age. Then there are the rare cases of dead ghost mons. These are ghosts types of once living pokemons, often the mons who died from not being able to fulfill their life dreams/wishes or something is holding them back from returning to the stars. These type of mons usually take form of when they die. It is uncertain as to how old these pokemons are, as they do not look like their age and their levels do not match up. It is best to be wary of these mons as they're very mischievous in nature.
