"Are you saying you DON'T like the sound of a Vuvuzela?"

DOOT INCARNATE!

.•°Backstory°•.

The first thing Vivi (who at that point was unnamed) can remember is her waking up in a field alone. She was on her back, with a then strange instrument next to her. She couldn't remember how she got to where she was, nor anything from her past in general. Confused, she sat up and looked around. "Naʔikai...(the sky), Naʔimasu... (the ground) Tonou Sau... (a town...)" She knew what all these things were, but she didn't know how.
For minutes on end she tried to recall memories, but it was to no avail. It would've gone on even long, but Vivi was soon interupted by a married couple coming up to her and began talking to her in a language she didn't understand. At first, Vivi thought she could ignore the couple, but they were persistant and eventually Vivi got up off the ground and began to follow them. She didn't really have anything else to do, after all.
Vivi followed the couple into the nearby town, and to their house. They unlocked the door and seem to beckon Vivi inside. Unsurely, She followed their lead and entered the place she'd eventually call home.

Living with the couple was a bit odd. The first few months were just spent teaching her how to speak in the language of spirits. There were many mistakes along the way, such as Vivi not being about to hear L's, and constantly mixing up vowel (in fact, when the couple were telling Vivi what her instrument was, she called it a "Vuvu-ze-i-a, which would eventually become the basis for her name). It took half a year for Vivi to finally be able to communicate.
After that, the couple adopted another inkdrian child by the name of Ruthie. Ruthie, being deaf from birth became quick friends with Vivi, as she wasn't bothered by how loud she was unlike many others. In fact, Ruthie usually encouraged Vivi to play, especially because it seemed whenever she did, something seemed to roll out of it, and Ruthie wanted to figure out why.

Years later, Vivi still had the creeping feeling like she was forgetting something. The same feeling she had when she first woke up in the field. That, plus the fact that the language she spoke back then wasn't inkdrian made Vivi want to travel. Maybe if she did, she'd figure out what she was missing. Saying goodbye to her adoptive family, Vivi began to make her way towards the nearest city with only a packed bag and her vuvuzela at her side.

So far, Vivi still hasn't figured out what she's forgotten, and is starting to lose hope as time goes on. She's still close with her family, especially Ruthie who moved into the same apartment complex as her. She even has two kids of her own, Kya Zuu and Slide Wisal, and a job as a sound engineer to support them. Still, something seems off... She's just not sure if that's actually true, or if she's been imagining it this entire time.

.•°Personality°•.

On first glace, Vivi seems like a bubbly, loud child who doesn't care what others think, and just wants to play her annoying instrument. Thankfully, this is actually what she wants people to see herself as, and although it annoys people, she really enjoys interacting with people like this. However, if you look just a little bit closer, Vivi definitely has her quiet and mature moments too, especially when raising her children, or when along side friends.

However, if you look even further in, you can see that Vivi really has no idea what she's doing most of the time, and is just winging it while hiding her insecurities. The biggest of which is the ever-present feeling of guilt, abandonment, and being incomplete that seems to follow her no matter the circumstance.

•Afina (Me): Some ink with some weird powers. She always mutes Vivi's vuvuzela somehow, but it doesn't mind her since it doesn't disrupt the magic.

•Kya Zuu and Slide Wisal (Me): Vivi's children! She loves them more than anything, and even more so because they share her love of meme instruments!

•Ruthie (Me): Vivi's sister and reason why she plays her vuvuzela so openly in public. The two of them grew up being insanely close, and still are to this day.
