Mahoganyheart

Big and stocky. Very strong and built for fighting. Sandy brown coat, dark brown overcoat, black stripes along her back, and a white patch on her muzzle and chest.

She is missing half of her tail due to an injury and infection that required its amputation.

Loyal and kind, Mahoganyheart was named after her strong compassion and empathy. She tries to be everybody's friend, but struggles to see the flaws in others. She is loyal to a fault and will stand by anyone despite their problems, claiming that she believes strongly in second chances.

When confronted with any kind of decision, she would much prefer to defer to someone else's judgement, preferably that of her superiors. Despite this, she is capable of taking control only when absolutely necessary.

From a very young age, Mahoganyheart was a sweet and gentle kit, always doing her best to help her friends. Her strong build was a hinderance for her at the start, as she would accidentally hurt other kits and feared playing with them for a time until she learned to better control herself.

Mahoganyheart was a dream apprentice. She did what she was told, listened carefully, learned quickly, and even enjoyed many of the tasks other apprentices considered unpleasant, like tending to the Elders. Because of her lack of strong ambition and kind, empathetic attitude, it was suggested to her that she might do better as a medicine cat. Despite this, as her training continued, it became clear that she was a highly skilled fighter, and she enjoyed it far more than she cared to admit.
