Sequoia

Sequoia was the result of an experiment to combine a wolf and a human. Scientists wanted to see if they could replicate these sightings of these "wolf centaurs". Although the experiment was successful, their procedures and the experiment itself, is illegal. During their stay, they learned basic reading, writing, and arithmetic becuase the scientists wanted to test their intelligence. Due to poor security and very few staff, Sequoia was able to escape from their enclosure. They are now on the run from the experimenters, and they have gotten into a couple scuffles with them. They are usually bandaged due to their injury and run-ins with the inhumane scientists. Sequoia lives in the forest, foraging, hunting, and surviving through the elements. They're very timid when it comes to meeting other humans, but they did recieve help by a couple good souls here and there, which is where they got the bandages. They named themselves Sequoia due to a scrap of a newspaper article about trees. 

However, what Sequoia didn't know, was that there were others of her kind out there. Whether they be actual cryptids, mutant humans, or successful human experiments, these wolf centaurs live in a secluded camp deep within the forest, and usually intimidate or occassionally attack those seeking thier camp with malicious intent.
