Jasper Black

Character Notes:

• On Memory: Jasper Black doesn't remember where his right wing went; he's rather unsure if he built his left wing itself as a sort of vanity project or if something tore off his right wing. He figures the second scenario is more likely since he has a rather wicked-looking scar on his right side where a tiny wing would go.
  • Things that happened to his keb under previous owner(s) are considered canon, however this keb has forgotten them. If your kebanzu interacted with him previously and you'd like to continue the relationship, I'm open to it!
• Surly: Grumpy and terse. Vocally declines long-winded requests, but can be talked into helping out; will very likely complain while fulfilling said request. Talking to him can initially be like attemping to pry a nail out of a board.
  • What do you ask of me? Values getting to the point and short conversation over rambling. More inclined to agree to assist if the task is physical and doesn't require him to talk.
• Guarded But Trying: First instinct is to distrust anyone who talks to him. Jasper sees interaction as a difficult task in and of itself, and is Doing His Best to overcome his initial desire to Not talk to or deal with people. He is actively working on building up his tolerance for being social.
• On Magic: (I super 100% am unsure whether or not this is possible BUT) Jasper Black has a magical focus on decay. He believes there is a value in endings, as things that are dead (both animals and plants) provide nutrients for things that grow. His magical focus is more on aiding in speeding up the decay process in order to add to his bone collections.
  • Speaking of: Jasper Black likes collecting bones, particularly skulls.
• So about his rib cage -- I like to think that Jasper uses the hole in his side as an extra pocket. This may or may not likely gross out other kebs. He also may or may not be a bit stinky too.
• Living Area? Somewhere in a swamp most likely. Still deciding tbh.
