Having lived for so long, Bartholomew has studied in various subjects, gaining knowledge over the centuries in order to maintain sanity. Which has allowed him to take on various careers in education, medicine, politics and business, history, arts, science and engineering, and various other miscellaneous things.
Love was not something he's considered often due to outliving most, until he met a demon named Ezekiel. But 20 years into their relationship, a freak accident occurred and ended Zeke. Bart wasn't ready to let go so he used spare parts from dead/dying demons along with some magic/science to bring him back to life. They're still together five years later, and Zeke has adjusted to his new form.
