a closeted kindergarden teacher who actually makes illegal tech for supervillains for a living

he/him 37 / 5'8 (and a half)

• enjoys being a teacher even if it's a cover job sooo good with kids
• unmarried
• eyes are hazel
• birthday is may 22
• sort of a genius but you'd never guess with how flustery he is and all on the outside
• his coworkers notice it ever so slightly and wonder what he's doing as a kinder teacher
• with his job as a mechanic on the black market he feels less of a need to always act innocent
• original hair color is dark brown but after a lab accident it turned  a light pinkish orange
• alistaire commissions him for a lot of his tech, including his visor
• not a medical doctor, or any doctor at all; he doesn't have a doctorate. this does not stop Alistaire from calling him "doc"
• actually quite squeamish
• tries not to think about the death and destruction his inventions are causing and tells himself he just makes them so he's not responsible for what others choose to do with them. because of this underlying guilt it's actually a little bit of a relief whenever alistaire shows up asking for, like, something that will make all bread in a 3-mile radius stale or whatever
• alistaire is so annoying but thomas is used to dealing with so annoying creatures (children). but also he's. so tired of this man
• goes by "archytas" when meeting with clients + meets them in disguise (until they've been working together long enough he can trust them)
• he didn't put a ton of effort into his disguise-- it's just welding supplies he had around and figured would do a fine job obscuring his identity
• his logo for his work as archytas is a delta ∆ which ok displays shitty on toyhouse but the right side of the triangle should be thicker than the other two sides. like this
• usually wears long sleeve button-downs (often with fun, kid-friendly prints),  slacks, regular ass shoes. often throws a lab coat over it when he's working in his lab, unless he's doing something more dirty/dangerous in  which case he dresses appropriately (the welding gear isn't JUST for  disguise purposes)
• makes alistaire's robot arm prosthesis in the future. does it for free and updates and fixes it whenever needed
• there will probably be some kind of brba/bcs esque descent as he's forced to work with more and more dangerous clients and can't get out of the game until he's unable to separate himself from the dangerous part anymore and is forced to use his own inventions to protect himself on multiple occasions and when that happens he'll be delightfully pathetic for my entertainment
• notable features: forehead lines, sort of a bump on nose bridge, receding hairline
