Meihui is one of the oldest citizens in The Mire, as most don't make it past their fifties if they're lucky. Her drive to keep its citizens safe keeps her going, as she runs the Lotus Children's Home to shelter babies suffering from the effects of overcrowding. She's also been known to harbor fugitives in a secret backroom, providing them with a mat to sleep on and sustenance from her own personal supplies. She can't stand the little punks in the Patrol Corps, and has been known to hit intruders with her broom to keep them off her property. Because at the end of the day, are you really gonna be the asshole that hit an old lady?
Design
Notes
- She likes a good mix between traditional Chinese styles and punk clothing. Loves hand-stitching little symbols along the edges from her childhood.
- Her hair has red streaks in it to match her kiddos. ;-;
- Hardly ever seen without her tiny spectacles on, which make her eyes GINORMOUS.
- No cybernetics or mods (inc. the citizen- standard neck port), but her broom-whacking skills are to be FEARED.
Personality
For an old woman, she certainly knows how to cause a ruckus! Sweet and gentle one moment, and loud and wild the next, you never know what you're going to get with Meihui, ESPECIALLY if her broom is nearby. She loves living life to the fullest, and her children are her world. Mess with any one of them and you'll find yourself with a damn good concussion.
