Kirito is a very tall man, with a decently toned and somewhat slender build. He has pale skin and light blue hair that he keeps short and is most often cleanly slicked back. His hair also has three dark blue strands that always seem to pop out from the rest. He has a sharp eyeshape with light blue iris's. Above his right eyebrow he has a beautymark. He is comically expressive, although his resting face is somewhat displeased.

Kirito seems on the surface to be an over the top, cartoonish villain of a person. He can be very dramatic when things don't go his way and he's very difficult to get along with. He often treats people as servants rather than human beings, but if someone stands up to him and refuses to tolerate his behavior, he easily backs down and becomes docile. Kirito is obsessed with being as much like his father as possible, despite his own feelings and ambitions that he does his best to supress. Kirito is a family man, desperately craving a happy family and his own children, despite none of his romantic relationships seeming to last.

As the first born of the Himora family, Kirito was groomed from birth to be the perfect heir to the family name and fortune, and there was never any question that he would follow his fathers word as if it were the law. He was never close to his many siblings, as he was convinced he was more important than them, and that they were irresponsible children, even when he himself was still a child. Kirito took easily to this lifestyle, developing an inflated sense of self. When he reached puberty, Kirito noticed that he felt flustered more around his male friends than any of the girls he knew, but when he asked his father what that meant, his father said it was just Kirito making friends, which he believed. The feelings made Kirito uncomfortable and guilty, both of which were aggrivated by his fathers increased interest in not letting him be alone with any boys or develop close relationships with them.

When his younger sister, Kaiyo, passed away, he pulled even further away from his siblings, not knowing how to deal with the grief and trauma they were all experiencing- himself included- and deciding to retreat to what was comfortable and understandable. Politics. Despite this, Kirito formed a romantic relationship with an idol around his age named Chiasa Kimura. They were both young and foolhardy and not as careful as they should have been. As Kirito pulled away from the relationship due to his heart not being into it, Chiasa realized she was pregnant and decided to hide the fact from Kirito, simply disappearing from his life without a trace. Kirito was surprised by how little he felt at losing her- and more surprised by the fact that he missed their time as friends more than their time as a couple, but he decided to move on with his life and began his political career with the backing of his father.

Kirito's political career went very well at first, getting elected to small offices of power and doing his best, until he could move on to the next oportunity. He was well liked, and his moderate opinions were inoffensive to most people. That is, until his father passed away. Kirito was always suspicious of the events- his father was healthy and happy the very same day of his death, and Kiritos fears were cemented when the autopsy and will were revealed. The Himora patriach had been poisoned, and the will stated Katsuhiro- Kirito's youngest sibling- as the main benificary. The murder was pinned on one of the cooks, the man had even confessed to the crime- but it didn't feel right to Kirito. His life fell apart- he stopped putting effort or care into his work and became hated by his constiuants. He had recieved enough money in his comparitively small cut of the inheritances to live modestly off for the rest of his life, and for a time he resigned himself to retire in shame and live in a deep depression. He felt that he had failed and been found lacking as an heir. He felt jealous of Katsuhiro. And more than anything, he felt lost without the only guiding force in his life. Every step he had made had been in his fathers footsteps, and now there was nothing to follow.

Eventually, Kirito pulled himself out of his inactivity when he realized that he was spending money far too quickly to make his inheritance last much longer. He realized he had to get back into his political career, but it was difficult with his current public perception. He was forced to sell his luxurious penthouse and move to a small apartment. If he knew about Chiasa's pregnancy, he would have married her and raised their children regardless of his lack of romantic feelings for her.
