Despite being rather haughty, Requin doesn't actually like to do much work, instead scraping by on the bare minimum while poking fun at the rest of the crew.  His place remains secure due to his connections within Iota, which he swears he could never reveal to the others for the sake of discretion.  He has also saved the crew from a tight spot more than once by disabling the abilities of law enforcement in pursuit, or just making a quick underwater getaway with the loot.
