Independent. Resourceful. Family-Oriented.

Fuji tends to be overly independent and struggles to accept help from others. She's always had just herself to rely on after her parents passed. Fuji felt the need to grow up fast despite being so young still as she needed to take care of her baby sibling. Due to the struggles of essentially living on the streets, Fuji became highly resourceful, crafty, and handy. She learned from observation, but mostly from trial and error. While she loves inventing, her skills of being able to sew, use tools, build, and other basic day to day skills have proven valuable to pursuing inventing as more than just a hobby. 

Fuji grew up with only faded memories of who her parents were, but still had her younger sibling with. Until the day her little sister vanished, she diligently took care of them. She spent the majority of her childhood surviving without adult help and became quite resourceful and handy. Fuji always kept a look out for where her sibling had vanished to, not realizing a family had removed them from the canyon. As luck would have it, one day the family and Fuji crossed paths in the canyon and Fuji was overjoyed to see her sibling again. Fuji was adopted into the family as well once she explained her familiarity with Suzu. 

Fuji enjoys the little things in life, simple beauty in nature, collecting rocks (crystals, minerals, ect), the fragrant blooms in spring and summer. She developed a knack at creating useful and helpful tools, one of her favorites being a slingshot that works similarly to a crossbow but loads itself, so long as it has a full mag of the correct sized stones. This lead her to becoming a promising young inventor. 

Once she was a young adult, and Suzu an older teen, she moved back into the canyon to establish herself as an inventor. Her sibling also moved in, hoping to find a passion of her own. Fuji, while thankful to being taken in by a family, remained independent. Moving out, Fuji was excited to build a home for her and Suzu and be able to properly care for herself and her sibling (and sibling's pony it seemed). They continue to remain in contact with their adoptive family and try to visit when possible or wait for the family to visit them.
