Profile

Dilşad was the first human abducted by the goo aliens. Initial criteria were weighted towards people that didn't move around much, hoping the scanned patterns would be more stable. It's believed not being allowed to search for a job at the time of selection contributed.

His 'golem' was wiped and re-printed several times as the goo aliens troubleshooted mapping human locomotive functions; he had no memory of what horrors his copies had or had not experienced. He inadvertently gave the expedition the name "Hummus" from his joking - after the point they had mostly figured out talking.

His testimony was part of the basis for the decision to continue delaying directly engagement with Humanity during the expedition if possible. He did not view the aggression of war he had been fleeing to be an anomaly, and encouraged them not to prematurely create opportunities for more power grabs.

His mental scan was deleted on the golem's natural denaturing... the closest he would get to a death. While the mental formatting and printing process would continue to be refined, continuing to use the same imprint risked over-focusing on the subject's peculiarities.
