A Deerdog from a world where everything has an inner magic, Caleb woke up in a forest as a baby, not knowing his parents' faces or why he was there. The only thing he knew is that his parents loved him and taught him how to survive. His sole purpose has been to search the forest and find his parents. But when he sees something glowing in the night, his life changes forever.

Caleb is a very curious dog. He looks at the world as if under a microscope, and knows the forest like the fur on his chest. He takes pride in knowing about the forest, but is insecure about not knowing everything about it. Caleb jumps into situations head on without a plan and is adamant on sticking to his train of thought.
