From the day she was born, Sundae had two legacies to choose from. The first was to follow in the hoofsteps of her grandfather, a fierce and loyal soldier who climbed the ranks of the Steel Rangers in his youth and now presides over Giddysburg as its Elder. The second was to follow her father, a foolish and incompetent stallion who deserted the Rangers even before the birth of his second child. To any, the choice seems easy, but Sundae's older brother had already started down their grandfather's path. What would be left for her?
