Profile
A fire elemental born from the hottest flames in the underworld he hails from, Mirzah is the closest thing to royalty for his kind. While he was originally in line to become the overlord of his homeland, despite not being a demon in the traditional sense, he instead sought his fortune elsewhere and became a mercenary and bounty hunter so he could put his exceptional strength to use in a productive way.
As an Ifrit, Mirzah's body is highly resistant to physical damage, but weak to magical attacks and charms. As most of his targets are angels, demons, and mages, they often have at least some grasp over magic. In response, he has taken on an evasive, almost dance-like fighting style that combines martial arts with powerful fire magic to dodge attacks, deliver strong fire-augmented punches, and create smokescreens for cover. As he is an elemental, he does not have a clear sin affinity like a "true" demon would, but can still feed on soul energy by draining it directly from his targets or consuming pre-extracted forms of it.
In his work, he does follow something of a moral code, preferring not to take on bounties that are quite obviously too weak for him to find challenging or too blatantly innocent to be worth killing. He will often still take on the more reprehensible jobs anyway, but certainly not without calling his potential employer out first in order to gauge the depths of their depravity. In these cases, he is easily swayed by the offer of a higher pay from his target to take out his employer instead, if he doesn't just decide to betray them anyway just for the fun of it.
Between hunts, he spends his time studying at Hell College to further his knowledge of divine and demonic entities. Despite his imposing figure, he delights in guiding weaker demons through the Hellscape and helping them reach their true potential. After all, today's weakling could be tomorrow's ally -- or target. Ulterior motives aside, he is rather personable for someone so quiet and stoic, and is not above making friends or allies should he deem someone interesting enough to care about or fight alongside in a more long-term partnership.
