Initially designed by an ageing scientist for want of a companion and assistant who understood his work, CRT was deactivated and disassembled for nearly two centuries following his creator's death. Now, reawakened, he roams both the physical world and the digital one in search of knowledge from this brave new world, hefting around a large USB-like plasma beam carefully assembled after scouring various digital databases.
