The Ship Pet

Tack is essentially a dog with a computer for a brain. His ability to remember anything on command renders him a valuable assistant to the ship's medic.

Along with his help in the medical bay, Tack also acts as an emotional support animal for the crew. He is known to curl up next to an injured crewmember's bed and keep them company, or attempt to comfort a sad member of the crew.
