The adorkable space 'pirate' Captain Lotus!
While the crew of the Oracle is actually freelance contract mercenaries, some would refer to them as pirates. Lotus is a kind hearted woman who finds something to love about anyone. Perhaps this trait contributed to her unusual marriage arrangement; having both a husband and a wife simultaniously.
During her youth Lotus had a rough upbringing. Born into a family of high status, her mother was determined to force her into the mold of a 'proper lady.' In her preteens, her mother passed away and by her teens her father remarried. Her mother-in-law was HIGHLY uncomfortable being in the prescence of a Mystic (as are most in this universe). After several attempts to have her sent away, and many familial disputes, Lotus ran off to live a floater's life at just thirteen. By her late teens she had been a member of a few pirate crews and eventually... 'found'... herself a small junk ship she was able to call her own. Eventually she comes across Odin and is able to save his life. Throughout their adventures together, they accumulate the rest of the eventual crew. The rest remains a secret for the upcoming comic. ;)
