Seshie (Sheh-she) is the demigod Besenji pup of the Teumessian fox and Laelaps.  They befriended Zipporah, and now live with her as a platonic partner.

They are rather reclusive by nature and open up to only a very select few overtime. For the most part Seshi is a mystery, and is happy being so.

They and Zipporah tend to live their own lives side by side, both respecting each other's level's of openness.  Seshi offers quality time, quiet companionship, and physical comfort in a way Zipporah has never known from any other.  For Zipporah, she provides to Seshi her full unconditional acceptance, quiet companionship, and a total lack of judgment or forced expectation, something Seshi has found to be very rare amongst sapients.  She also, though she'd never say so herself, is a wonderful cuddler.

Seshie desires to live quietly and unassumingly, and does not want to be known as a demigod or for their rather famous sire and dame.  Most know of their parents as a result of the epic and paradoxical pursuit they remain in to this day.  What few know (and Seshie is happy to keep that way) is that this chase was not their parents first meeting as is commonly believed.  A several years prior to the beginning of the epic persuit, Laelaps‘ owner visited others in Thebes, and set Laelaps free to roam and play for the day after they arrived.  In short, as the full story can’t be justly told here, they met and before the day ended Seshie was conceived.

Seshie is mortal, in that they can be killed, but short of being killed by another they do not age and will live forever.

Seshie can take on anthro and human forms at will and indefinitely, but very strongly prefers to remain in their feral form.

Seshie is agender and goes by they/them.  They are aromantic and asexual.

Seshie acquired the skills and abilities of both their parents, and can never be caught by any pursuer, and will always catch their pray.

More about Besenji Hounds:

Well known as the “barkless” dog from Africa, the Basenji does not emit a normal bark but a high pitched howl which almost resembles a laugh or yodel. They feature a short coat, small, muscular body, erect ears and a tail curled tightly over one hip. A wrinkled brow gives them a somewhat mischievous expression.

The Basenji is an incredibly intelligent breed of dog and they are often quite stubborn. They are incredibly curious and are highly active, requiring lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Due to their highly inquisitive nature, the Basenji will destroy or chew almost anything left lying about.

A big plus of owning a Basenji is that they love to play. They are also known the make excellent watch dogs, standing up to intruders and defending their territory when challenged. Interestingly, they have almost feline-like grooming habits and they are fond of escaping.
