Brash and impulsive, Brace often acts without thinking. Despite this, he isn’t dumb (probably). Although he’s not afraid to speak his mind, Brace does not reveal much about his past. He’s distrustful but loyal to those he does end up trusting.

Profile
Brock Sindile lived happily with his parents and twin brother Grover.
However, that soon changed when their father lost his life to a wereanimal attack, marking the boy as a wereanimal in the process. One tragedy led to another and on the night of Brock's first full moon, he lost himself, waking up to the corpse of his own mother and his terrified twin, now marked by the same curse.
They ran after that, too panicked to take anything with them and spent the next two years on the streets, never staying in a fixed place yet too scared to return to their old home.
And then? Brock had an unfortunate encounter with some hunters.
He had meant to find some food for him and his brother. He had never meant to take so long.
He was captured, shackled and mocked for being a monster. But the hunters underestimated him because he was a child, and that it wasn’t the full moon.
This mistake cost them their lives.
Brock’s first big kill would be the very hunters that tried to tie him down.
News spread fast of the young boy’s feat, a relatively young wereanimal getting captured and slaughtering the hunters. It’s an eye opener for many other wereanimals, seeing as most probably never fought back with the hunters, or quickly died trying.
This event became the first catalyst for The Wild Side to band together.
The twins were soon approached after the incident and the wereanimal group known as The Wild Side was formed. Brock became known as Brace the Ripper, and he, alongside Grover (now nicknamed Gloves), led said group.
In the two years he and his brother spent on the streets, Brace had gotten used to lived among both people and the wild. While he missed his old life,he couldn’t afford to dwell on it when it came to survival. But now with The Wild Side? he felt more secure, he had a new family, and as always, he had his brother.
Or so he thought.
Gloves’ betrayal hit him hard. The Wild Side was scattered to the wind and while he was not harmed physically, he was hurt. He had lost his family again. More than that. He been betrayed by the one person he trusted the most.
